So You Want to be an Author... by Robert Freeman
As I've attended different conferences, I've talked with people who seem very interested in how I became an author and how they might become one too. This presentation (given at Collaborate last year and pretty well attended) will introduce the attendee to the publishing process, and discuss how they can become a published author. The session will discuss book publishing primarily but will also mention magazine and internet content publishing. The session ends with QA.

In this presentation he will discuss how the publishing process works, how to get started with an idea, things to do, and some things not to do in your effort to get published.
