    Consumer Agreement

     

    Cancellation Policy

    To protect everyone from potential abuse and unforeseen circumstances, TruTek maintains a very strict cancellation policy.

    If you have any questions about our cancellation policy, please feel free to either call (801-486-6655) or email us at sherri@trutek.com.

    · If TruTek cancels a class for any reason (e.g., natural disasters, terrorist attacks, etc.), your registration fee can be applied to another TruTek class. But there will not be a refund.

    · If you cancel a registration, you can apply your registration towards another TruTek class at no additional cost.

    · In addition to the three points outlined below, if you want to cancel a registration and receive a refund for any reason (e.g., you registered for the wrong class), there is a 10% service charge.

    To cancel a class and request a refund, the person whose credit card has been charged must:

    • Forward the TruTek E-Commerce receipt along with the student's name, the appropriate credit card number, its type, and its expiration date to sherri@TruTek.com. The credit card holder always receives a receipt via email upon course registration completion. Credit card registrations will always be refunded by TruTek issuing a credit card debit, not a company check or bank wire.
    • If the student later decides to register for another class, they must re-register as if they had never registered before.
    • The refund policy, that shows up as a credit card credit, is: the credit card holder will receive a 75% refund if canceling 60 or more days before the class, 25% refund if canceling 30 or more days before the class, and after this no refund is available. Remember that the registration can be applied towards another TruTek class at no additional cost.

     

    In addition, if you decide the class doesn't meet your expectations, you must notify sherri@trutek.com before the start of the second day, in order to request the remaining days be credited towards another class.  After the first day of class, no credit will be given except at the discretion of TruTek.

    NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN IF YOU CANCEL AFTER THIRTY DAYS BEFORE THE START OF THE CLASS.

     

    Should any party be required to bring legal action against the other to enforce the terms and conditions of the Agreement, the prevailing party shall be awarded its costs incurred and expended during the period of litigation, including reasonable attorney’s fees.

     

     

    This Agreement is governed by and will be construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Utah as applied to contracts entered into, and the Courts of Utah shall be the exclusive forum.
